WEBSITE DESIGN // FROST

High-end website design for businesses that cannot afford a slow site.

WynterIX designs and builds custom websites for high-ticket service businesses. Each site is prebuilt and served from servers close to the visitor, so it loads in under two seconds on a phone. It is structured for Google and AI engines, built around one path to contact, and owned by you outright.

What a WynterIX website is built to do

A website for a high-ticket business has four jobs. Most sites do one of them well and fail the other three quietly. We build to all four and test against all four before launch.

  1. Load fast. The target is under two seconds on a mid-range phone on a mobile connection, because that is where most first visits happen.
  2. Be understood by machines. Google and AI engines should be able to read who you are, what you sell, and where, without guessing.
  3. Convert with one clear path. Every page leads to the same next step, and nothing on the page competes with it.
  4. Belong to you. The code, the content, the domain, and every account are yours on the day we hand it over.

Design matters, but it serves those four jobs. A beautiful site that loads slowly, confuses search engines, or hides the contact path is an expensive brochure.

Built on a static, edge-delivered stack

We build on Astro and deliver through Cloudflare. In plain terms: every page is built ahead of time into finished files, then served from a network of servers near each visitor. When a buyer opens your site, nothing is assembled on the fly and nothing waits on a distant database.

What that gains you: speed that holds up on a phone, a very small attack surface because there is no admin login to break into, and hosting costs near zero. There is no plugin stack to patch every week and no theme update that breaks the layout.

What it costs you: there is no drag-and-drop page builder. Text and image changes go through us, or through someone on your team we train to edit the content files. For most service businesses that change a site a few times a quarter, this is the right trade. If you need to rebuild pages daily without help, say so on the application and we will tell you honestly whether this stack fits.

Prebuilt pages, an edge network, and structured data stacked as separate layers of one site.

Designed for the buyer, not the award jury

Someone about to commit serious money to a service wants three answers quickly: do you do this, do you do it here, and how do I reach you. Our layouts put those answers first and make the next step obvious on every screen size.

The contact form does qualification work. It asks what the buyer needs, the rough size of the job, and when they want to start, so your team calls the right leads first. The questions are written for your business, not pulled from a template.

  • No carousels. Nobody reads slide three, and they slow the page.
  • No popups that block the page before the buyer has read a sentence.
  • No chat widgets that cover the call button and collect half a conversation.
  • No stock photos of handshakes. Real work, real people, or clean typography instead.

Search and AI readiness from day one

A new site should not need a second project to become findable. Search readiness is part of the build, and it is the same foundation our search engine optimization (SEO) program, the work of ranking in Google's classic results, builds on later.

Structured data
Code in each page that labels facts for machines: your business, each service, your service area, your FAQs. Google and AI engines read it to decide what you are.
Canonical facts
One approved version of your name, address, service list, and hours, repeated identically on every page. Conflicting facts make engines hesitate to cite you.
Internal linking
Planned links between related pages, so authority flows to the pages that sell and crawlers find every page without help.
Page templates
Repeatable layouts for service pages and location pages, so new pages launch with the same structure and quality as the first ones.
Image discipline
Modern formats, explicit dimensions, and sizes matched to the screen, so images never cause slow loads or layout jumps.

Every page passes automated quality checks before launch, drawn from the gate set we run on our own production content system (60+ checks per page). For firms that sell on expertise, such as the professional service firms we work with, this structure is what lets an AI engine describe you accurately.

The FROST engagement, step by step

FROST is the name of our website design and build project. A typical build runs 6 to 8 weeks from discovery to launch. Scope, deliverables, and the starting figure are listed on the website design pricing and package page.

  1. Discovery

A working session on what you sell, who buys it, and how leads are handled today. You leave with a written site plan: every page, its purpose, its target search phrase, and its call to action.

  2. Architecture and copy

We write every page from the discovery session, in your voice. One page per buying intent, an answer in the opening lines, and headings shaped like the questions buyers ask.

  3. Design

Two design directions for desktop and mobile. You choose one, and we refine it. No theme, no template.

  4. Build

The site is built on the static stack, with the form, call tracking, analytics, and Search Console connected to accounts you own.

  5. Quality checks

Speed, accessibility, structured data, links, forms, and redirects are tested before anything goes live.

  6. Launch

The site goes live on your domain. Every old address redirects to its new equivalent, so existing rankings carry over.

  7. Ninety-day care

For ninety days after launch we fix issues and make small changes. Then you receive a handover document that explains how to edit the site and who to call.

What to expect, and when

  1. WEEK 1

    Discovery

Discovery session, measurement definitions, and a written site plan approved before design starts.

MEASURABLE: Approved site plan and page list

  2. WEEKS 2 TO 4

    Architecture, copy, design

Page architecture, copy written in your voice, and two design directions, one chosen and refined.

MEASURABLE: Approved copy and approved design

  3. WEEKS 5 TO 8

    Build, QA, launch

Build on the edge-delivered stack, quality checks on every page, redirects, tracking, and launch on your domain.

MEASURABLE: Load time, structured data, working form and tracking

  4. DAYS 1 TO 90 AFTER LAUNCH

    Care window

Fixes and small changes, indexing checks, and the handover document.

MEASURABLE: Indexation, first impressions, first form leads

The site is live inside the project window. Search results take longer: Google needs weeks to recrawl a new build and settle rankings, and AI engines refresh their sources on their own cycles. We track both through the care window and report what moved.

If you want search work to continue after launch, that is a separate program with its own ninety-day minimum. The WynterIX engagement process and standards explain how the two connect.

Frequently asked

Do I own the website?

Yes. The code, the content, the design files, the domain, and every connected account are yours at handover. There is no license fee and nothing that stops working if you leave us.

Can I edit it myself?

Yes, with a caveat. There is no drag-and-drop builder, so edits happen in plain content files. We train an editor on your team to change text and images, and the handover document covers the rest. Larger changes are usually faster through us or any competent developer.

Do you migrate my old site?

Yes. We map every existing address to its new equivalent and set permanent redirects before launch. Content worth keeping is rewritten into the new structure. The goal is that no ranking you have today is lost in the move.

Do you build online stores?

Not as a primary line. Our builds are for service businesses that sell through a call or a consultation. If a small product catalog is part of your business we will say whether it fits, and if you need a full store we will tell you to hire a specialist.

What about hosting?

The site runs on Cloudflare under your own account, and for most service sites the hosting cost is near zero. There is no server to maintain and no weekly security patching. After handover, hosting management is yours, and it is documented so any developer can take it over.

Do you write the copy?

Yes. All copy is written by us from the discovery session, in your voice, and you approve it before design is finished. It is structured for search from the start: one page per buying intent, answer-first openings, and question-shaped headings.
